FIRE BURNS 2,500 ACRES, 25 PERCENT CONTAINED IN LIVERMORE
The fire burned near and around homes, but only one uninhabited home was destroyed.
The first call came in at 2:45 p.m. Wednesday, near Tesla and Corral Hollow roads, a Cal Fire official said. Carnegie Motocross Park at 18600 Corral Hollow Road was evacuated.
The fire burned on both sides of Tesla Road, Cal Fire fire prevention specialist Pam Temmermand said.
Lawrence Livermore National Lab is nearby, but said the fire is not moving toward the lab.

Alameda County fire, Cal Fire, and additional crews are working throughout the night to try to contain this fire. Air drops were suspended overnight due to safety concerns, but they will resume in Thursday morning.
