Adidas release new Manchester United kit with dramatic
After a summer of leaks and fan mock-ups, Manchester United’s new adidas home kit is finally here.
German sportswear giants adidas had to wait until August 1st to release the new strip due to the Red Devils’ contract with rivals Nike and they’ve attempted to make up for lost time with a dramatic new video unveiling the kit.
The video, released at midnight last night, features adidas athletes Juan Mata, Luke Shaw, Phil Jones, Daley Blind and Ander Herrera with narration over the top referring to the Red Devils’ history.
Having spent 13 years with Nike, United’s new strip is a return to their former kit suppliers and this year’s jersey is inspired by the kit worn by the side in 1982.
