Harry Kane warns Premier League opponents that he will only get better
Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane is confident that he can kick on after his 31-goal last season
The 22-year-old has however said: 'I try never to get too high and never to get too low. You have to just keep that medium.'
He admits to achieving several career goals in an incredible 2014-15
What are the odds of Harry Kane repeating last season's stunning 31-goal breakthrough?
If you listen to the modest but confident 22-year-old they might become shorter than you think.
The Tottenham and England striker, heavily linked this summer with a £40m switch to Manchester United, reckons he can back up a memorable 12 months - and is ready to dismiss claims he will be a one-season wonder.
'I'm looking forward to the challenge of seeing what I come up against and how I deal with it,' Kane said ahead of Saturday's season opener at his suitors.
'As a person you come up against challenges in life and it's how you deal with that that defines you.
'I am looking forward to it and am confident in my ability as I have been in my whole career that I will be capable of maintaining my form - if not improving year in year out.'
Wise beyond his 22 years, the Chingford boy is ready for the inevitable questions should he go through a barren spell in the coming months.
